BIOGRAPHY

My passion for singing and dancing was ignited as a child in Manchester, New Hampshire; inspired by my older sister Angela.  She was very active in school choir, dance classes, and gymnastics. Cue-I Can Do That!’

My own training began in high school where I further developed my love for music and movement. Participation in jazz choirs, a cappella groups and dance recitals honed my musical ear and dance technique. Musical theatre became my outlet for self-expression, performing in over twenty productions in a four-year span at Manchester’s prestigious Palace Theatre, ranging from youth and teen groups to collaborations with professional actors brought in from New York.

My formal education continued with a four-year conservatory training at the Hartt School in West Hartford, Connecticut where I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Musical Theatre. Immediately following graduation, I booked my first professional gig and got my Equity card at the historic Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis in their production of HMS Pinafore!

Next stop?  New York City which led to a gig on a real ship aboard the Disney Cruise Line -Disney Wonder as a Mainstage Dancer and u/s for numerous roles. While I enjoyed performing established works, I found an even greater calling composing and arranging and recording original material, which took my musical skills and ear for melody to a new level as a contemporary singer/songwriter.

Whether on a Broadway or regional stage, the recording studio, or the popular music concert circuit, music and dance has always been, and always will be the outlet for my most authentic and joyous expression of self. Cue-What I Did For Love!
